Development still in progress...
Posted on:29 Feb 2008 @ 09:16:36 PM
Current Cross-Browser Status:
Firefox: Perfect, since this site was designed FOR Firefox users.
Safari: Good, minor errors on occasion, will be fixed during code-cleanup.
Opera: Pretty good, some minor errors, will be fixed during next cleanup.
IE: OK, IE sucks and we won't be making too much of an effort to work with it.
You've probably noticed the new site layout upgrade. The curved 3D boxes and the better layout give the site a friendlier look, and with what we've done allows us to have a both a better looking system, as well as a more useful one.
Hey guys, just bear with us, still working on stuff. I'm working on getting core functionality down, which should (hopefully) happen within the next few weeks, depending on my work schedule, and whether I can stop procrastinating.
Anyway, for those of you not using Firefox, get it, it's a lot better than IE, and IE doesn't exactly work with our site... 'cause it sucks. (yes, at this point, BOTH our site and IE suck... our site is in development at least, IE isn't)
Edit 2: Todo list (probably not going to be done in any particular order):
• Finish user settings and control systems, including avatar uploading. working on it :meh:
• Moderator and Administrator interfaces Working on it
• Submission system Sorta...
• PMs and updates Set up and almost ready
• Commenting system Done!
• Forums (based on commenting system... kinda) Not started more than thinking about it
• Helpdesk and FAQ 50%
• Watch system Planned out
• Browse and search systems Nope
• Whatever is left of the report system 40%
• Activate the registration system ehhh
Grand opening ONLY after the above it done
